Building skills, confidence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.
Skills Inspired provides mobile paediatric physiotherapy across Perth supporting children with complex physical and medical needs.
At Skills Inspired we understand that every child’s journey is unique and we are dedicated to working closely with families and support teams to provide compassionate, holistic, expert care tailored to the complex needs of your child and the important people around them.
I support children and young people with complex needs, and the families and teams who walk alongside them, in a way that is practical, collaborative, and deeply individualised.
My approach is hands-on and grounded in real life. I work with children in the environments where they live, learn, and participate — at home, school, daycare, respite, and in the community — to better understand how they move, engage, communicate, and access everyday activities.
I work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams, including hospital specialists, allied health clinicians, educators, nurses, support coordinators, social workers, and care teams.
A significant part of my role is helping bring information together so recommendations are practical, aligned, and meaningful across everyday environments.
I support children and families with assistive technology and equipment, including seating and positioning systems, mobility devices, orthotics and splinting, sleep positioning, standing and walking supports, and recreational equipment.
This includes both complex equipment and creative low-tech solutions that support movement, participation, comfort, and access
At the centre of everything is the child or young person — their strengths, preferences, communication, relationships, and what matters most to them.
Whether working alongside biological families, foster and kinship carers, schools, or support teams, I place strong value on connection, shared understanding, and therapy that fits into everyday life
My approach is guided by a holistic framework, including the F-words for child development, with a focus on:
My approach focuses on supporting children and young people in ways that are meaningful, practical, and centred around everyday life.
Therapy is not just about exercises or milestones, it’s about helping children participate, connect, move, communicate, explore, and feel included in the environments that matter most to them.
By supporting movement and participation, we create opportunities for connection, engagement, communication, confidence, and self-expression.
